Remote WorkLab

Remote WorkLab is a platform for professionals who believe that empowering the remote worker and building a remote-first culture is critical to the growth of their business and the happiness of their employees.

 

The purpose of the platform is to share challenges, solutions and tools to help companies build or transition to a remote-first environment.

 

This platform includes several samples from companies who helped pioneer the remote-first work movement including but not limited to GitLab, Zapier, Basecamp, InVision, Automattic, and Buffer as well as next generation remote-first adopters Owl Labs, Splice Machine, and Doist.

Founder​

Sara Schrage is VP Global People Operations at Splice Machine, an enterprise AI platform company. She led Splice Machine through the process of moving to a fully distributed, remote-first work environment and the infrastructure to support the move.  Prior to Splice Machine, Sara has led several people operations teams at companies with partially distributed remote-first global workforces.

Kimberly Koeller For the last five years Kimberly has held a variety of People Ops responsibilities at cybersecurity AI startup, Cylance, a partially distributed workforce.  While at Cylance, Kimberly has helped the company grow from an 80-employee domestic startup to a 1k+ employee global enterprise.
